BioEntrepreneurship 07/08 study session launched
We have had many ask whether MaRS BioEntrepreneurship event series will be running this year again. The answer is a resounding “YES!” but in a slightly different “study sessionâ€? format compared to its inaugural year last year.
Entrepreneurship 101 was always intended to be MaRS’ core course on how to start a business, with BioEntrepreneurship bringing some of the industry-specific knowledge that an entrepreneur in the life sciences sector would need.
BioEntrepreneurship will this year be held periodically as a study session after Entrepreneurship 101 classes. While BioEntrepreneurship sessions can be attended as stand-alone courses, we highly encourage all aspiring Bio-Entrepreneurs to attend Entrepreneurship 101 in order to get the business basics you will need.
Some of the upcoming BioEntrepreneurship sessions include: Business models in health care products, marketing, regulatory affairs and a discussion of IP in therapeutics and diagnostics.
