		<description>Hi there John,

I too have someone I care about who has lost their vision so I agree that it is not a perfect solution.
But I do think we are headed in the right direction!

For users without any vision, one of our technical challenges was to make the web module JAWS-compatible. I'm not sure if you or your daughter have tried this particular screen reader software?
All elements in the module (animations, illustrations, navigational items) are tagged with descriptive text that JAWS reads aloud to users with very low or no vision.
Compatibility between JAWS and Flash-based websites is a work-in-progress, but we hope to continue improving upon this through our projects with the CNIB.

Thanks for your feedback, John -- we'll keep at it!
Best,
Sonya

ps the CNIB has more info on JAWS if you are interested :)

<description>This is wonderful for people who at least have some sight, but do not pretend that it is wonderful for EVERYONE. There are people who have no vision whatsoever. My daughter is one of them.
